A/C Problem - Driver Side Warm But Passenger Side Cold
A/C Problem - Driver Side Warm But Passenger Side Cold
Hello everyone,
For the last few weeks, I thought my A/C was messed up (and well it is)... but I wasn't sure why or that I even really had a problem.
But just this past week, I put my hand over the passenger side vents and they are COLD like the a/c is supposed to be! WTF.......
But my driver side is blowing hot/warm or room temperature air (at best).
I changed the cabin air filter today, but that did NOT solve the problem. In fact, I can't tell if it made any discernible difference other than the quality of air I'm breathing. But as far as the problem of warm air coming from the vent, the air filter did nothing.
Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions/fixes?
Thanks all...

Yes, they are both set to "low" right now. Passenger seems to be blowing what it should be... but driver side is warm...
I've played with the settings... tried turning it on after a drive, sitting in the garage, i've tried turning it on after 10 minutes, tried it with the recycled air on or off, on at different times, off at other times... etc.
I have a 2011 if anyone was wondering.
Thanks for the response.

In my 2004 Accord I had this exact problem. It turned out to be an Air Diverter in the Dash was not opening properly. Cold air was going to the passenger but not the driver. If your under warranty... take it in.
