A/C not working

I hope someone can help shed some light on my current situation. My ac abruptly stopped working last week, worked fine one minute, shut the car off, got back in and no AC. I can’t figure out why my compressor isn’t kicking on. I’ve checked both fuses, replaced the relay, pressure switch and compressor. Recharged the system as much as I could without the compressor kicking on and still nothing. Is there something I’m missing here? Appreciate any help.

did you replace the metering valve? If its stuck, or there is a clog in the system there won't be proper pressures for the system to work. Sensors see pressure issue and won't let the compressor engage. You can manually jump the compressor clutch so it will engage for testing.

Did you vaccum out the system? Replace the drier? What is the pressure on the high side and low side? Did you check for leaks with dye? New condenser in front of car? Check the suction hose and make sure it's not collapsing either.

The expansion valve did escape me. I will check that out. Yes system was vacuumed out and held vacuum. Pressure is equal on high and low side. New condenser and dryer also. I’ll evacuate and put a vacuum back on to make sure there is not collapse on suction side. I didn’t see anything like that the first time but going to have to if I pull the valve out anyway.

thanks

New expansion valve. No collapsed lines. I filled on low side, as one should and have equal pressure low and high. About 90psi. Compressor still will not come on. Everything is new at this point, aside from the lines which I blew out with air to make sure there wasnt any blockage.

is the compressor engaging? If not, see if you can manually use a jumper wire to do it and check the pressures.

I tried jumping it at the relay and still nothing. Or is there somewhere else I should be jumping it at?

check the wiring going to the compressor and jump the compressor clutch at the compressor.

Found the issue. After verifying power to the plug it Turns out the pin in the new compressor plug was bent so I wasn’t getting any contact. I got nice cold air now, but the compressor wasn’t cycling off while I was filling it. Pressures were reading good, But ran out of time tonight to try and figure that out.
