Hello I’m new to the group. I’ve owned 3TL’s and never had this problem. While my wife was driving (2013 base TL) the SEVICE TPMS message came on on the dash. So I had the sensors checked in all the wheels and the were all good. I’m guessing it’s the TPMS receiver under the dash. The thing is I’m having a problem finding one. I’m ready to trade the car in but I want to fix this problem first. I’d like to get a used one because the new one costs $500. Does anyone have a trustworthy used one or s supplier they they can recommend?

 

This might be of help. TPMS receiver location. There are also a few online resources that say there is a reset button so if you find something like that it may be worth a try.

 

First you have to identify the exact #1 (below) TPMS receiver unit part number for your TL & then search it (eBay has a few low $$ units).
If that does not fix the issue, the only thing left are the #3 initiator sensor assemblies (total of four).
