hey guys , does anybody else have same problem with front brakes, when push them @like 50-60 mph, i feel this vibration, also when i slow down im feeling car doenst stop smoothly. btw my car only have 13k miles. every honda cars i had before had same thing ...

 

You may have a bent rim from a pothole and threw the balance out on the tire. Being she's under warranty, take her to the dealership and check her over for a bent rim, and or out of round rotors. Also hard breaking can cause rotor warping with some cars.

What size rims? 18" or more are more receptive to bent rims from winter potholes.

you know what happens when a really hot surface touches water right? it warps and cracks..

Rules I follow to determine the root cause of vibration:

1) If the vibration only occurs at a certain speed or speed range when you are NOT braking, i.e accelerating, then it's your tire and/or wheel.

2) If the vibration only occurs when you are decelerating i.e stepping on the brakes, then chances are your rotors and/or your pads need to be resurfaced.

3) If the vibration only happens during hard acceleration then check other items such as engine mounts.

4) If the vibration occurs at all speeds during acceleration/deceleration then check all above and get your front suspension checked.

 

I had my rear rotars warp. On braking, even lightly, I would feel the vibration. Acura resurfaced and they are all fine now -- though thinner. I don't know what the problem was, but it has not come back.

 

My 2010 had the same problem. It only happened at highway speeds. Finally got around to taking it back to the dealer at about 20K km and they turned the rotors which fixed the problem. The repair was covered by warranty.

 

i drove today my friends 2010 maxima with same miles on it , and i was very smooth ride btw.

 

I just had the same problem and had my rotors resurfaced ths week. The problem is gone.
