So i got my car in july 2018( 14 awd tl tech). Unfortunately i did not try the accessory outlets until a few months into owning and and realized both of them do not work. Took it to acura and they told me the board needs to be replaced. I checked the fuse in the drivers side fusebox and looks fine. Is there another fuse to check? Also do you really think the board is fried? Does it control anything else? Hopefully someone sees this and had the same issue. Im not trying to pay 400 dollars to charge my phone.

 

I had some issues with the fuse for both the accessory outlets and I did buy extra plugs (OEM) from the dealer. I had to fumble a couple of times to get it going but luckily, I didn't need to replace board. I have been going to DT Acura for service in the GTA and I have had good experiences with them.

BTW, you could use the USB cable in the car to charge the phone.

 

Yeah but i wanted to use a fast charger for my samsung lol.
Did you juet keep replacing the fuses? What did you fumble with?

 

I was plugging in my air pump and it kept blowing the fuse. I got a nice Canadian Tire electric one so I wouldn't use the socket anymore. I tried to fumble with the fuses (replacing them) but in some instances, I could get it to work. Took it to dealer and they fixed it (maybe I didn't put in the fuse correctly). DT Acura is pretty good but I would call and setup an appointment so you don't waste your time.
