4G head lamp haze (inside the lens)

I noticed on my 2009 some hazing appearing not on the outside of the headlamp - but on the inside near the edges of the top and bottom

has anyone else seen this? and how can it be corrected?

it can only be corrected by opening it and wetsanding and clearing the inside again.

from what i know it is caused by LED bulbs. it emits fumes when turned on which causes the inside of the lens to haze. i had the same problem.

you have to put it in the oven and bake it for a bit to soften the silicon glue that holds the plastic lens to the housing. If you search for DIY clearing headlight on the 3G TL forum, you'll find tons of DIYs on it. I have no clue if the pictures work but that's how people pull it apart to remove the amber turn signal reflector, etc.
