Hey everyone
sorry for the rant, about a month ago I noticed that under light acceleration on my 2012 TL, it felt like it was going to stall out / bogging down. It never got worse but didn't go a way over the next few weeks. Took it in last Friday, and well...have a bad torque converter. It has 40k on it.

So they gave me a 2015 ILX, nice car but damn do i miss my TL!! Also I haven't searched it, but is this a common problem or just an anomaly?

Again sorry for the rant, its been 4 days and i miss my TL!

 

Yes, it's a very common issue and my 2012 TL is also experiencing it now, I'm going to let my dealer know at my next oil change. I really hope Acura fixed what was wrong with the converter and isn't just installing another one that will fail in another 40k...
