My brother broke my engine cover clip. There was a clip (marked in the red circle from this URL: http://imgur.com/J3dpmBh)

That specific lower left cover is not secured. Is there a way to fix it? Or should I replace it?

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I. next time you go for service ask for a replacement.
II. check your owners manual it should be there as it tells you how to remove the engine cover
III. google the engine cover diagram and you will find the clip part if all the other clips are in tact with one missing you will still be find. but if you are that passionate about keeping the car that intact i suggest you go to the dealer and when you get your next service done have them replace it or add a clip im siure you can find it on ebay or amazon think this might be it and i just googled it imagine what you can do with deep research

I was looking for my manual at the time, however my brother decided to just rip it off.

 

np..lol the manual says do it in steps as in one at a time i think it has 4 pieces so start from where the battery is and work your way around

 

yeah. I also found a video, clock wise rotation to take it off.
Will be using for future reference.
