2010 TL climate control not turning on

Hello,
I have a 2010 acura TL 2WD with 130K on the clock. Car runs good. Problem i have is the Climate Control as a whole is not working. Not working as in it wont turn on. Th display on the dash shows "_ _ _" for ambient temp and the internal temp isnt displayed at all. I checked all fuses and replays. All good. I have replaced the transistor for the blower as well as the radio/CD/climate control as a unit. Still nothing. Pushed the on/off button a million and one times. Nothing. I did get it to turn on once by pulling the battery cable and putting it back on. "reset the ECM" It powered on for a total of like 2 minutes the off it went. Hasnt come on since. I did read in another forum that these units have a self diagnostic feature. Does that apply to this model and year? Any suggestions would be so much appreciated!!!

The temp reading was solved by having it fixed under warranty. I think they just re-connected the temp gauge it because it was loose. I think there are a couple of issues going on with your car. Temp Gauge and Climate Control.

I attempted some more troubleshooting again yesterday. The ambient temp no longer displays "_ _ _" Its just blank. Like the climate temp setting. The green lights on the climate control buttons don't light up either. Like the power has been cut to it. Double checked all the fuses and relays. All okay. Could it be the display on the dash itself? Winter is well on its way here. We are nearing freezing temps at night so i need to get it going. No dealer where i live unless i want to drive 4 hours one way.

Has anyone had display issue that caused a failure elsewhere as a result of a failed display? Im wondering if the mother board on the display has failed and causing a loss of ground or signal to the fan switches.

Still having the same issue. I have abandoned all hope. I have purchased a different vehicle for winter. I would like to get this resolved and the car sold. If anyone has come across this issue or have some pointers that would be awesome. Thanks in advanced.

Never said I took it to a dealership. I would if there was one in this area. Or a shop that would work on it. Cant drive it in the snow and ice with no heater.

Ok, I just assumed you would have had a professional look at it before you went out and bought a whole different car.

That's bizarre. Especially that it works for a little while when you reset the ECU then stops working again. Maybe try disconnecting the battery cable for a while, like 15 minutes or so. Who knows.....
