Hey guys, new to acurazine and looking for some help. I have a 2009 Acura TL SH-AWD with Tech and having some issues with the wipers. Sometimes when starting the car the wipers will make 7 rotations and stop halfway on the windshield. Sometimes while driving and I tap the wipers to make one rotation they will make several and finally stop and sometimes will not park in the correct position? Anyone heard of this? Solution? I suspect either the switch or the wiper motor...? Thanks in advance!

 

I am getting this intermittently too. Plan to get dealer to look at it on my next visit.

 

I posted about this in the winter time. Check the ground cluster behind the left front of the bumper. Put it up on a hoist and remove some of the bottom plastic in the corner of the bumper. Then look up. There are about 4 to 5 ground wires on a common contact. The wipers ground here exactly. Mine were a bit of a mess! Cleaned them up dielectric grease and wipers have worked perfect ever since. Something to check before you throw parts at it. Wiper switch did nothing for my 09. Good luck. Mark

 

Thanks for the info. Because I had extended warranty, they are going to replace the motor. I will ask them to check fuse area too.
