'09 TL Shawd TRANSMISSION GRINDING!

Its started to have the grinding noise at lower rpm and the rpm meter is going up and down. Seems like its struggling to select the right gears. Anybody have this problem?

Sounds like the torque converter. Do a search. There are several threads on the issue.

Bring it to the dealer right away before your warranty runs out. The repair won't be cheap.

i guess ill have them look at... but i dunno how to show them because the problem come and goes.

I just got done with the same issue. It was resolved with a new TC...here is my thread:

The main thing is that you need to drive it with a tech, not the service manager.
