Wrapped grill

As an option to painting, I decided to wrap my grill in black and charcoal gray in case I didnt like the look.

Thanks Rafiton. I didnt want it "murdered" out even though I like all black look but at the same time wanted something different.
Best part is, I can peel it off.

Looks good. I painted the beak, but the grill surround would look really nice that way. Did you do the trunk trim as well?
What and where did you buy the material?

Holy crap that looks good! I like it better than completely painting it. Anymore pics?

My4G, of all the grill paint combinations, that one is my favorite. I think it's a keeper!

Thank you all for the nice comments.

Yes I did the rear trim also in charcoal.

More pictures in my garage photo album.

Ok. here goes. I got the gloss black vinyl wrap from rvinyl.com, I think it was 4 sq ft. It was $21.50 at the same time I got the red out tint for the tails. $16.00

I took my wifes Polished Metal MDX to a local printing shop and they printed out and laminated a sq. yd. of wrap matching the MDX. $25.00.

A heat gun and some elbow grease and its wrapped. When I turn in my lease in 3 yrs. I can just peel off everything.

Makes me think that Acura could make a hot looking grille if they made the stock silver color a bit darker.

The stock silver outer part and rear trim is not even clear coated. It always had water stains. The beak, well..its still a beak. Why clear one thing and not the other is beyond me. There must be a method to Acuras madness. It takes getting used to. Im still getting used to my CL's rear end. I probably never will.

The way you mod that grill is hot. It goes well with the CBP color .

Its a good idea, it probably looks even better in person.

After having a painted grille, im not too convinced the painted option looks better on my BRP, although the stock grille does water mark easily as mentioned above

you should tint the reflectors next to the turn signals. i hate how the fwd tl looks like it has whiskers. otherwise A+ on the grill.

That looks awesome! Been thinking about doing the same on my 09 PMM. Not sure what color to go with though. Thanks for the pricing info and website address on where you bought your vinyl. How long did install take?
