Thumbs up for ingenuity. Mixed feelings on it maybe being too much light though. Do they help light up the road sort of like fog lights?

yeah they do, its pretty bright at night timeand i lovee bright lights😎😎

Oh yeah, I'm all about bright at night. Just installed some 5000K Philips White Vision bulbs and installed some Morimoto fogs about 6 months ago. Huge difference vs. stock.

So it looks like you wired them independent of the other lights. Is there some sort of switch you set up for that?

yeah, i ended up ordering a harness from amazon, and ran it through the firewall (had to drill a hole) 😒 nd have its own switch... you have a picture of the morimoto?? I was looking into that

I don't have a photo but I can take one. Unfortunately, they've only made the Morimoto's for the 4G with the mid-model refresh, 2012-2014. So you'd have to do some sort of custom install if you went that route. I think most 2009-2011 guys go with better bulbs but keep the stock housings.

yeah, thats what i did, i put some led bulbs in there and they sure made a big difference from them ugly yellow stock ones....
