Thanks. I'm still thinking about whether I want to powder coat these to an anthracite color while I still have the stockies to put back on temporarily. The tires are Continental ExtremeContact DWS which is an "ulttra high performance all-season" tire according to tire rack. Any tire is an upgrade to those michelins.

more pics

Here are some more pics that I took today. Let me know what you guys think...keep as is for now or change it to anthracite? I am torn...I like it as is but I would prefer a dark grey color. Maybe change it later to "refresh" the look of the car after I get tired of the black color.

Looking very clean ....needs a drop though.

H&r springs would really complete the look.

I did do the headlights myself. It was a pain but doable with some help. I have not experienced any fogging or leaks. I think it has been over a year since the install. I did not use any extra sealant...i just reheated the original seal and pressed the 2 pieces back together. Risky but I had bad experience with using silicone. Definitely do it ... best mod imo

Looks really good except for the wheels. IDK if its the tires or the rim selection....

Car looks good. If your planning to keep those wheels I would suggest getting a drop and to black out your roof or get 20" rims.

new mods

Just picked up some new mods that I installed a couple of days ago:
- black beak
- DDM 5000k HID headlights and fogs
- XLR8 Jpipe

I had such a hard time installing the above. Always ran into some trouble (of course caused by my lack of experience).
It was such a pain (mentally and physically) to install but definitely glad I did it.

New toys:

Results: (no picture of the jpipe installed though since it doesn't look that different when installed)

Awesome progress nanos! I'm interested in the jpipe but was wondering if it would void my warranty? Or what any other cons would be? Post up a vid of your startup can't get enough of those. Your WDP is lookin clean tho!

yea...it wasn't the best idea for me to do it myself but it worked out. I struggled for a while though and almost gave up because I couldn't free the first nut/bolt. My buddy who installed it on his 3g says it was straight forward so I gave it a try.

I really don't think it voids warranty but others here are more familiar with that topic. From what I've read on other threads, they shouldn't void your warranty unless the mod you installed directly causes the problem. I'll try to get a exhaust vid up soon.

From the cabin, the noise didn't seem to be louder but that's probably because the intake is so loud. I have to have someone else turn on the car and drive it around so that I can listen

Very nice Nanos. Congrats on the updated mods. I'm sure your black grill looks excellent with your black wheels.

Please be sure to get photo's so we can see the two together.

quick update

Things have been pretty quiet as far as mods go. I was bored one day so I decided to go to iJDM to pick up a pair of LED DRLs. Overall I really like the results . My high beams are useless as far as illuminating the road but I was happy that I could still use my high beams to signal to others if needed (they get marginally brighter if I turn high beams on).

Future mod waiting to be installed: roof spoiler (hopefully next weekend)

Here are some pics:
