thanks for connecting me with him - oddly enough I actually reached out to him a few months back but I got the impression he only did 3G headlights. After seeing yours, I'm in the process of booking some time with him to have mine done. Maybe you could join us and we could make a day of it.

wanted to thank you again for connecting me with Evan - met up with him a few weeks ago and had my lights done, they look awesome!

i really wish i brought a replacement set of LEDs with me when I got them done, i've been riding around with the ugly yellow bulb still in there. I'll be swapping them out this evening though!

hope I get a chance to meet ya and see your whip when I make it into TO for a meet. I've asked Evan to keep me in the loop, would you mind reaching out to me next time somethings going down?

Haven't posted in forever, but a lot has changed since my last post.

-Car was lowered on Tein SAs
-Tossed on some 19' Niche Targas
-Blacked out Tails
-Blacked out Headlight housing with demon eyes
-Grille and trunk piece wrapped in vinyl
-6000k HID fogs
-Running a test pipe
-other small things

Almost decided to sell her but definitely keeping her around for another year or so

Little bit of an update:

Last summer I had gone to Crappy Tire to get an oil change and the guys working on my car forced it between the hoist bars (Got a bit of poke on the wheels) and ended up chipping both front wheels. So now after months of talking and reasoning, they agreed to pay for set of new front wheels but we were shocked when we found that Niche currently has a back order on them and the waiting time is around 8 months, so I said I'd have to get the entire set refinished and powder coated to match each other. They agreed to pay for that instead.

Soooo that's where I'm at right now, wheels are currently being done and should be ready by next week.

Along with that:

-Front splitter arrived in the mail
-Side splitters are getting made and should be ready on the weekend
-Support rods, switchbacks, 3000k fogs and yellow lamin-x have been ordered
-Found a local 4G owner selling his Magnaflow mufflers + 4inch Staggered quad tips for a steal. So gonna be tossing those on
-Roof spoiler should be here in a couple of weeks

Looking like a promising year for sure. Very excited.

Just a universal one off of ebay. Best one I can find with the same dimensions as the bumper, so here's hoping it fits haha. Dropping it off at my buddies shop to get painted tonight too. I'll definitely toss up some after pics once it's on next week.

Same. Don't know if I could pull one off due to my driveway but still in for your pictures. You must be getting prosplitters. They are local for me.

Ordered it from Ikon Motorsports and it seems pretty durable. Just sent it out for paint today to get it color matched with the other splitters. And my driveway is the same way, it's like a goddamn mountain to me nowadays.

More tiny updates.

Picked up my custom side splitters and they look amazing heh. Nice and sturdy with a gloss black finish annnnd switched back to 3000k fogs. Just need some yellow lamin-x for a deeper yellow look.

Also picked up some switch backs from the flea market (terrible idea, I know) and they burnt out instantly while I was testing them. When I put back in the oem bulbs, one side wasn't connecting properly and not turning on/blinking, so I removed em both for the time being. So today I picked up a better pair of switchbacks from a more reputable source and they're much more vibrant than the other ones. Soooo hoping to get em in tomorrow.

Other than that, everything is going as planned haha.

Switchbacks installed.

And I'm pretty sure my OCDs are lowkey torturing me since my 3000ks aren't yellow enough. I am in desperate need of that Lamin-x.

Sooooo..Good news and bad news.

Bad news being that the guy doing the powdercoating for my wheels completely fucked them. Like it was absolutely terrible how they came out and I was so astonished when I went to go pick them up. The clear coat was cracking all over, paint was peeling off and everything was just super blotchy. Was not a good job at all. Already took them to a more known and reputable shop and they should be done by Tuesday now.

Now, the good news is that my front splitter just came back from paint and it looks amazing heh. Color matched and ready to be tossed on.

Just kinda sucks that now I gotta about a week or so before I have any actual time to finally toss everything on. Everything was suppose to be on this weekend =(

Updates: Went with a whole different color for the wheels (Flaming Copper Red) and they came out flawless and couldn't be happier with em. The front and side splitters I'm holding off on for now since I may purchase the OEM body kit instead.

Also switched from my straight piped setup to a custom resonated 2.5" Magnaflow catback setup with 4" quads. Piping was 120, resonator was 60 and the muffler came with tips that I snagged off a local member for 220. Looks clean and sounds nice a deep. Juuuust need my PCDs and tune now haha. I'll get a sound clip up soon.

Hopping to order the VRS style roof spoiler off eBay annnd tint my taillights red again soon.

Update: After some minor hiccups and stuff, was finally able to get the front splitter and support rods installed. Also got rear splats done as well.

The previous splitter ended up being to small once it was properly mounted and looked waaaay off. Had one locally made and formed in the same shape as the front bumper heh. Love how it came out.

The radius / curve on the front of the TL is significantly more than the first splitter that you had. Someone had asked for my assistance with the installation of one and even with splices and heating it did not match well.

Custom is the way to go, I like the shape of the new one but not the space between it and the bumper. Your mod list is growing , nice work.

Yea I was thinking about filling in the space with a strip of EZ Lip or something. Would fill it out nicely.

But as of now, I'm done with the mods, already started saving up towards a next car.
