Tein.RonJon.Volk.

Havent posted any pics in a while, it finally stopped raining so I cleaned up the 4G today. Figured I would snap a few and post. I think these are the first pics I have posted with the Tein Coilover drop. Also had the rear trim piece color matched. I cant wait for you guys to get a glipse of the final ATLP exhaust product!!!!

Thanks- Still might be getting a set of harrows soon as my bonus check arrives. I love the way that wheel looks on the 4G.

Lol. I figured I would follow suit. I was going to make the title "like a sprained ankle boy, this aint nothing to play with" but figured people would get lost.

Waiting on a ronjon lip kit

I have messed with the dampening setting a few times to get it where I like it. The ride is better than the Eibach springs I had on, but def not as good as stock.

WOW!!! I like how your car sits on the Volks... I think they look great! Still looks great with or without the kit.

So Tein makes coilovers for the 4G now? That is TIGHT! Your car looks soooo freaking awesome! Man, I really really like the 4G's!

Your's and Blackura's are my favorite 4G's!!! You guys know how to lower a car perfectly! I'm sure they're will be many others to look out for soon too!

PEACE!

The shadows and glare were really bad yesterday, but I will take one this week and post.

Thanks, yeah Tein released SS Coilovers a few months ago.

Yeah this may be coming next month, I am actually looking for a used kit in the BlackMarket since the 3G EDFC kit will work with the 4G setup. Taking the backseat out to manual adjust them is a bitch!

I wish...everytime i check their website, I get a bad URL link. I dont even know if they are based in Socal. However, I would gladly let them use my car for a BBK.

Also tempted to get their slotted rotors because the rust on mine is very annoying.

Yeah Josh has them on Excelerate. I tried to get the dealership to repaint them, they said no, then proceeded to take their camera phones out and snap pictures of my car.

You should def do that. Mike at ATLP mentioned a few other projects he thought would fit nicely with the 4G, roof wing was one, and he also mentioned a new hood. This was all just us talking but I thought adding a more aggressive hood was an interesting idea.

Your buying a house, and I am just finishing paying off closing costs for selling a house i bought in college. Needless to say I didnt make any money! New Rotors might come this summer after I pay off the commissions.

wow. thats all i have to say. looks amazing buckvegas. couple questions.
1. if you were to do it again would you color match the headlights or stay with black? or maybe color match and make the 4 "eye-lids" black?
2. is the mesh on the rj grill black or grey?
3. what did you do to they rear reflectors and front turn signals (mirrors and above the fogs) to darken them? tint?
looks fantastic keep up the good work!

Thanks, Bigbunks.

1. Great question, JnC and I discussed both options and I was really torn on what direction to go. At that time i had not seen anyone do either and I thought the safer bet was to black them out, they turned out amazing. However, I have always wanted to see either Grigio or PMM color matched. Either way they will turn out amazing.

2. The RJ grill is black mesh, I had grey mesh as well, and I changed it to black.

3. The rear reflectors and turnsignals all have a tinted overlay on them, I got these done through bluebatmobile who is a site vendor.

I bought some rays lugs and they didnt fit correctly if I remember correctly we have like 14mm vs the standard 12mm (that may be the reverse). I just bought some that fit off the tire shop that mounted them.

Looking good man!

Have you thought about painting those brake calipers black? They sort of stick out like a sore thumb behind those sexy Volks. I did mine on my 04 TL and I love them!

Hey thanks! yeah the calipers are ugly, I agree. I have read a few good DIY on painting the calipers. If I did paint them I would def go with black. Might knock that out the same time I change the rotors.

I didn't want to do the nasty red or anything like that, so I stuck with black. You should look into this kit:

http://www.amazon.com/Duplicolor-Per...7706235&sr=8-3

I didn't want to rattle can my calipers, so I bought that kit that you use with a brush. It takes quite a while to do, especially if you want to do it right, but it's worth it.
