Emblems i'm ok with, but doesn't that block all if not most of the light output of the tail lights, especially during the day or in conditions of intense sunlight?

Its too dark. The more lighter, the more classier, especially on that silver.

The flat black on the lights is killing it. Some lighter shade of vinyl will be a lot better.

I once dipped my emblems on my S4. Will never use the product again. While its aggressive it does not compliment the TL.

I like the dark reflectors, but the tails are too dark - a light smoke is nice. I do think your black and white avatar pic is killer!

Thanks. I think it would be better with a lighter shade on the tail lights as well. That's the great thing about Plasti Dip, I can peel the stuff right off.

Not loving the flat black on the tail lights.... but I am not a fan of darkening the tail lights at all.

Darkened lights will look better on a black or charcoal colored car.

i think it looks good minus the tails ... if u wanna have a dark tail light look i think even tint looks kinda bad, the best bet is to open them out and smoke them out from the inside

Have you considered Chrome rear signal bulbs? They will eliminate the "yellow" spot in your lens (egg yolk look) and give it a full clear lens look.

Treblig. Great Idea. I like the all clear look too. Thanks.

Karkraze. Your car looks great man. I noticed you have what looks like a body kit on your car. Is that standard on the SH-AWD or something you put on? What size are your rims?

Curious as to why you don't just get it vinyled black instead of plasti dip?

Plasti dip for wheels/emblems/whole car is different never seen anyone plasti dip headlights/tail lights/glass

Thanks bud,the kit is from Acura and is installed as an option.

Rims are 19x8.5x35mm offset.

Are you planning to do more mods?

Eazy. I actually was planning to do vinyl. I brought it to the place that tinted my car and tried to have it done. But after applying the initial tint it didn't give me the darkness that I wanted. It looked like a very light smoke. I guess our tail lights really reflect a lot of light because I had the same tint on my Lexus IS and it looked great. The place PDI Tint couldn't locate a darker tint and said he would have to double up the tint. I was fine with that but he completely flaked out and never called back so I said screw him and tried Plasti Dip which I used on my other cars for grille's and emblems. It is a little darker then I would have wanted but it will do for now and saved me $150.

i honestly dont think it looks that great, its still a bit too dark even with the reverse lights and turn signal lights cut up, if it looked a bit dark red and not full black it would look good

You can buy a film off lamin-x if you really wanted and apply yourself. its $55 for the film and you'd probably want the charcoal film if you want it dark. But imo tail lights shouldn't be tinted so dark.

Ever drove behind someone with busted tail lights and/or third brake light? Its kind of the same idea. You would want someone to be able to see your tail lights
