I spoke to original owner several times. He's a really good dude. He took off a few of his mods before selling to the Acura dealer.
And sadly, I had the Teins with EDFC removed last week. I wasn't sure about them when i bought the car, but ended up loving them. But I was having issues with my steep driveway. Now that i have the original suspension back on, I can say for certain that the car rode better with the Teins. I had the EDFC set to 8 front and 10 rear most of the time, and the car soaked up road bumps much better than stock at that setting. I am going to be selling the Teins. They only have about 5k on them.

Very good eye for detail my friend. I added body side moldings after buying it certified from an Acura dealer in suburban Chicago. I did that for protection, not looks, but then ended up liking the looks even more, which surprised me.

Copy away.....I can't take credit for the look, only for being quick enough to grab it before someone else did!

Hello - sweet ride. How did you smoke your tail lights? Tint or paint?
I was thinking about buying these for my tail lights. What do you guys think?

they are Goodyear Eagle RS-As. 245 40 R19. (94V, which seems odd since my 05's Michelin tires had W speed rating.) come to think of it, I got the '05 up to about 145 on I-35 one day, and i think the '12 tops out well below that. don't know why Acura set the electronic limiter so low on the '12.

They are painted. the exterior was slightly sanded so the paint would stick.

I'm glad to see the front grill painted. I was originally thinking about doing it in reverse... Leaving the middle span trim shiny and painting the surrounding chrome. I think I am convinced not to do it my way. =)

Painting the grill
I’ve always wanted to paint the front grill like yours. Someone recently backed into my car 😢. Fortunately the damage is minimal, but I figure while the car is getting repaired, now is the time to paint!
The body shop is concerned that the paint won’t do well over the chrome. Have you had any issues? Or, do they make a replacement part that does not have chrome?
Thanks!
