Dark Knight Slow Progression Thread

I think the car looks pretty good, the only thing I would changed is the blacked out wheels, I feel like gunmetal wheels would give the car good contrast ... maybe a set of 19s or 20s would be perfect

i also do not like the blacked out look..and prefer contrast. i alwasy felt blacked out wheels just looked dirty...
on carrielynn's car, however, the dark wheels contrasted her WDP car..and it looked awesome...
just my $.02.
rather than paint the dinky 18" wheels.. why not save up for larger wheels. the TL is so big that even my 19" look small to me sometimes! you could save up for some vossen 20s.... those things look amazing on a dropped TL with the body kit.
good luck on the car.
i like your tails.

Like the last couple members suggested, don't go with all black wheels. I never understood the look because you can't tell apart from tire to wheel (besides parked/stop). Kind of like those older civics and accords with the hubcaps removed.
But if you must have black wheels. Here are my suggestions.
Chrome or Machine Lip for contrast
Machine Face black wheels
My Choice, Silver wheels with or without machine face

Thanks for all the feedback but I am one of the very few Acura owner who actually dislikes the painted grill. I know this forum will crucify me for my opinion but thats the way I feel. I like gemz_acura grille but I would do the dark chrome grille and trim. I am thinking about adding some red to my car for contrast

everyone has their own taste. AZine so far if guiding me to find what i like best. I agreed with most previous post in regards to the full black on black... but at the end you do what you like best, that is what will make you love your car most.

No worries-that's why we all mod our cars!
If you add red, be sure to carry that on through in other things as well. I've got red trim on my front nose, but I've carried that red on with red calipers too.
