ATLBuck's Progress thread

Hey all, slightly new user here. Just started doing some mods to the car and thought I would share. Here is my current mods to my 2010 CBP TL SH-AWD w/ Tech.

Heres the list of what was done:
1. 20% tint.
2. LED DRL's
3. 10k HID conversion kit. (Phillips)
4. Paint Matched beak and rear trim (By Nexson)
5. Blacked out headlights (By AckTL05)
6. De-badging

Nothing is on the immediate agenda as I am still wrestling myself on if I should pick up a tuner car and keep this guy as my daily.

Future Mods should I not grab a tuner in the near future:
1. Wheel upgrade. Have not figured out what to go with here.
2. Lower ~1". Coilovers
3. Replace remaining bulbs with LEDs.
4. Performance upgrades decision has not been made.

20% tint. Pic shows 10k HID's. Blue is not for everyone but I think it goes well with CBP

Side View. 20% Ceramic.

Rear view.

Before Paint match and headlight swap. (did this all at once to make effective use of bumper removals).
Lower foglight housing is annoying me. I do not want to black it out. I wish it was chrome stock.

After paint match swap. Thanks Nexson! (and headlight swap)

Rear trim color match. I have also since removed badges and it looks great. (Sorry for the blur. I will update with new pick that shows badge removal soon)

Thanks for viewing!

Looking good so far! Why don't you just take the front license plate holder off since there's no plate mounted?

No plugs at the moment and slight dent behind it. I'll grab a decorative plate when I find the right one.

I've considered switchbacks but may end up converting the current lights to a "blinker-only" function. Who really needs 6 lights on the front? Might be too much for me.

I thought the same and disabled the passive parking lights.

Is there a way to disable without unplugging? When i pull the fuse called "small -extra R" and "small - extra L" it disabled my tail lights too.

Nah man, go with the switchbacks. The extra white lights actually look really good.

I disabled mine by the electrical tape mod lol. You take out the parking light bulb and cover one of the two terminals. By trial and error you can figure out which on to cover. They will still work as turn signals but no parking lights.

My paint shop said paint will not stick well to the plastic grille. Have you had any trouble with yours peeling? Thanks, your car looks great!

That's the rule of thumb, however, do a search for "Nexsons" work magic threads.
