Well...here are some crappy iPhone pics of these God forsaken VS-XX's ...when they're on the car with the drop, we'll use the Canon to take pics.

It's a copper dip with chrome dip lip. they had to be stripped and dipped 3 times! Drama all around with these damn rims, WheelFlip did compensate us for the LOOOONG turn around time. But they're home and ready to slap tires on and bolt them up!

I think they are pretty damn sick... Is the Copper Clear Coated so it won't tarnish? I've seen Copper Dipped before and those pics just aren't doing those wheels justice I'll bet in person they are just like whoa... Time for a Title Change "Taking Cass's 1st set of Worxx to Another Level"... Subscribed!

THANKS! That's part of the reason why they were dipped THREE times! The first time, they didn't clear coat them on time and they tarnished into a "burnt (orangey) copper" (that's the name WheelFlip came decided to call it).

Honestly, pics do these rims NO JUSTICE! I'm glad Alex at WF talked us into chroming the lips (cost more though) instead of re-anodizing or polishing/clearing...in person they seriously look like Rose Gold and Diamonds BLINGIN'! Haha. When the wife seen them...she was IN LOVE.

Thanks man...and that's what we WERE gonna do! BUUUUUT, my research was a little late...I didn't know that using a "step lip" added an inch to the diameter and we had already bought them! Ugh, oh well, these turned out better than we ever had imagined.

Thank you, yeah...it took a while, but in the end, they look on point. I'm going to make some TPMS brackets today at work so I can get the tires mounted and balanced this week...then throw the Teins on this weekend.

haha...more teasers...threw the Teins on, all the way on the bottom perch. Couldn't get the tires installed onto rims, had to finish the TPMS mounts (just cut some aluminum sheet metal from work's scrap and cut, bent & drilled), going somewhere tomorrow...even if that means taking off early from work!

for those that need the TPMS hardware, my local Honda dealership quoted me $53 for the nuts, washers, rubber grommets! INSANE! O'Reilly's in town had them for $13 for all four kits (granted I had to source out a washer).

by the time I got the rims on...it turned dark, so no outside pics...here's a teaser until tomorrow! Oh, and the rears RUUUUUUB HARD...lol, gotta raise about a 1/4 in. until we get the fenders rolled.

p.s.

rims sit super flush with the fenders...love the fitment!

Snapped off a couple of pics with the phone today...

Some reason this app isn't letting me post more than one pic...so, mods...maybe you can work some magic???

The wheels look insane, 1st time I've seen a bronze dipped wheel. May I suggest doing a small 09-11' FWD brake vents conversion to an AWD? I really hate that long reflector.

Also where'd you get the TPMS from? OEM ones have also skyrocketed in price.

Thanks! Yeah, I TOTALLY AGREE with the AWD fog bezels...I actually have the Acura parts website saved in my "favorites bar"...those, rear camber kit, roof spoiler and blacked out headlights are the very next mods!

Thank you! Yeah, I'll have the wife dust off the old canon to take some good-detailed pics.

Just got the rears rolled with a SLIGHT pull, gonna play with the rear suspension some more tomorrow. DEFINITELY getting a rear camber kit in the next week or two so I can get this bad boy aligned already.

Thanks, yeah, put a lot of thought into what color would be good for BRP. Funny thing too, tonight I was chillin' in the car...waiting for the wife while she was shopping and this guy was checking the rims out...then he just walked right up and was all checking them out, with our tint, it's hard to tell if anyone is in it. Lol.

Oh, yeah, I forgot to answer you on this...I found them on eBay! They were $16 a piece, but of course, NOW, they went up past $20 a piece...eBay's down at this moment, but as soon as it's up, I'll PM you the link for the seller.

DEFINITELY a good feeling...even though the VS-XX's are a dime a dozen...I have NEVER seen a copper DIPPED, always a copper powder coat or paint. I wish I could show you all of you guys what they look like in person, pics just do NO JUSTICE! Maybe after I'm done working on the old VQ today, the wife and I will go snap some pics with the ole' Canon EOS and see if that capture some of the BLING. lol.

The copper looks great on Basque Red Pearl! IMHO, I think you should consider color matching the entire front grill as well as the rear trim piece. To me, it looks out of place with the color scheme. And please dress up the tires when you take your next pics!

awe, that sux...but, it's not for EVERYBODY, just tired of seeing black/gunmetal/silver on everything. Thanks about the wheels though...I really think they would look best on a pearl white car.

Thanks my man! I originally wanted to do the WHOLE front grille, but was just playing with the vinyl stuff...maybe in the future.

And when we take the better pics, I'll through a little "Black Magic" on those tires. Lol.

damn, have to agree with the guy above, that copper just doesnt match well with the color of the car. maybe if the car was black or white it would look alittle better.

and really with those weak offsets you pulled the quarters? ehh
