O I C so its kind of like wiring in an amp for a sub. you use the power from the battery and use the power going to the original bulbs to turn on the ballasts and new bulbs? Sound about right. It also looks like they have their own fuse inline for the power correct?

my fogs almost never fire up simultaneously.. either one or the other... i usually have to turn them off, and back on again (after the engine is running)

^ no... but i installed a 20AMP fuse (removed the OEM 10AMP) from each side (driver and passenger) and now everything is good

at first, i only replaced the driver side, and that fog always worked.... today, i replaced the pass. side, and now that fog is good too... ill update if anything changes

FYI-- the 4G TL takes a new smaller type of mini-fuse... cant buy it auto-barn or pep-boys... i had to go to the dealership to get it.... $2.13 a fuse!! i bought a few spares just in case

Any way to replace the D2S's without pulling the bumper? I see 2 10mm bolts on top for the housing, but something else is holding the housing in and I'm assuming there is another bolt or 2 behind the bumper.

Thanks!

Silverstars use more power to get their brighter light. So since the DRL system runs on very low power, you're not going to see any particular difference.

All the Silverstar draw high power, which is why they tend to burn out faster than regular incandescent. There's no way to avoid it.

There's an old state law in Virginia that says that your lights used for forward illumination must be white, except for fog lights which can be yellow.

There's also an old law saying you cannot have more than four lamps [sic] lit at the same time for forward illumination.

How about the Head Light / Fog Lights and Parking/Signal lights...thats a total of 6 on our cars...although I did tape up the contact for the parking lights so its only on when signaling.

Also, I wanted to know where the heck is the Brake Light bulb. I opened the tail light and saw only 3 bulbs. Rear Marker light / reverse light and Signal light bulbs...but couldnt find the brake light bulb. In our owner manual it also shows in the picture only 3 bulbs.?????

How about the head light, fog lights and parking/signal lights...those can be all on at the same time which makes it 6..although I am in Calif..and plus my parking lights are only on when I signal...I used electric tape to cover the parking lights contact.

I was wondering...would you happen to know where the brake light bulb are located. I opened up the tail light housing and saw only 3 bulbs....Side Marker, Reverse light bulb and Signal light bulb. The owners manual also showed 3 bulbs....where the heck is the Brake Light bulb??
