2012 Roof spoiler fitment (ebay)?

Has anyone ordered it from bmwoemshop for their 2012 TL? Just wanted to make sure it fits and the color matches? I have a Bellanova White Pearl.

Thanks.

i did , all you have to do is before you even order on ebay go to section where you wanna ask seller a question.you send him yr make and model of the car and your paint code.then he will reply to and let you know that he got your email in about a day or 2. than you go ahead and finalize the purchase..GL

Mitch-S,

FYI - bmwoemshop is out of stock on the spoilers. I've been looking to purchase one as well.

Apparently, I picked up the last one. Ordered it for my 2011 only 10 calendar days ago and it showed up from Taiwan today. Just finished installing it 15 minutes ago. Didn't come with any instructions but I remember reading some posted here and went on memory. Anyone recall what the recommended wait time is before driving the car again? Anyone ever dare take the car through am automated car wash with the spoiler in place?

Really? I just saw this on ebay listed.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/PAINTED-ACUR...ht_9986wt_1396

I think it's good to go. I emailed the seller first to make sure though.

I think they must produce them in lots every week or so. Sounds like you are in good shape. My installation was easy. Fit and finish are real nice.

Thanks Mitch-S. The last time I checked, admittedly it was a couple of days ago, it said he was out.

I must say that those roof spoilers look really good. I am not very good at installing anything so I don't trust my abilities but they look sharp! Make sure you post the pics when you have it installed.

I drove my car after about 12 hours. During the 12 hours, I had blue painter's tape applied for pressure.

when i put mine on i also waited about half a day before taking the tape off.If you are in warm climate u can take the tape off much faster

As far as washing the car you should never put it car in a car wash.you should always get it hand washed, otherwise you are gonna develop swirls in your paint real fast

wow... I installed mine and was driving around in less than an hour of installing it. I am proud to say there are no problems with it. and its been on there for 4-5 months now. I think the most important part is to make sure you clean the glass really well.

It's my second time ordering from them ...fitment and color match were near perfect ..my only concern is that is easy to steal ...my first roof got stolen nearly two weeks ago ...and had to order a new one a couple days ago

Roof spoilers look great on 4G TL's.

I've had mine for 4 years now (put on with 3M tape) and no issues at all.

^ I did.... Mine held up for a year.... However, it was actually difficult to remove it when i traded in the car!! The included adhesive, really really held up well... Through car washes and the elements, not a single problem

Just use extra care and caution on seating the edges of the spoiler, flush with the pillars... that was the only thing i wish i put more effort in to

Thanks. So I assume you but a small bead of the adhesive in between the two existing strips of double-sided tape...???

When installing the roof spoiler, do I line the edge up with the roof or at the edge of the glass. The reason why there is a small gap between the rear glass and the roof possible for water drainage.

I would say that you should line it up with the edge of the glass (that's my plan). I think you are right about the space between the roof and the glass being for water drainage.
