Nice new pics, Stew. I like the 2012 TL, but I'm still wondering what they were thinking with the lower grill....

Stew,

What kind of lens are you using with that 20D?

^ yeah, it really does make a difference. I notified the dealer of this and mentioned that they might want to see about doing this as an option.. They said they can't due to paint issues (rock chips, scratches, etc). They will pass it on to Acura and maybe they could make this part in gloss black and not just painted.

It is just like prepping a hood or any metal part of a car for that matter. You take all the correct steps to give it the best defense aganist chipping and just hope for the best. The problem is at dealers, they want something that looks nice on the lot or showroom floor, so they will just scuff it down and paint it. This means the paint is just sitting on the surface and isn't "one" with the actual grille itself

Stew.....OMG! I am hugely not a fan of any mods as I tend to be a bit conservative and not invest too much given that I only lease my TL. That being said, your pics make me sooo tempted to venture that route! You, my friend, have an amazing looking TL with just the right of mods and accessories (IMO).....As much as alot of people still feel the 3G was the best design, your TL makes the 4G look amazing! Congrats my friend.

NEXSON...you also need the credit for such a great job!
