Maybe? Or maybe it's a 6-6 vs automatic difference?

I prefer to shoot RAW as it gives you more control & options. If you need to make any adjustments later it quite a bit easier. Unless you are limited on disk space or aren't ever going to make any out of camera processing adjustments, I think RAW is the way to go.

Thanks! Typical winter in Denver, not much snow until around March. Although it's usually mild most of the winter (the golf courses stay open all year). I really like the look of the 19" Acura wheels, as the spokes actually look like the Acura emblem. In another thread I just saw, someone had just picked up a set of the 19" Acura wheels & tires for $1250. I though that was a great deal.
I'd actually prefer the salt compared the the mag chloride they coat the roads with out here. I think that somehow it's causing some funky looking spots on the plastic bumper pieces and it's quite annoying. I have to wash the stuff off as soon as possible, or risk it destroying the finish of the car.
I saw your pics as well, and they looked awesome! I wasn't all that keen on the MBM, but after seeing your pics, I think it's a great looking color and very unique. (especially with the umber interior)

If anyone else out there wants to sell their 19" HPT package, let me know!

I like the way it drives, handles and looks. I much prefer the 2010 AWD over my 2006 TL 6MT! I driven more expensive cars that have driven better and worse. Although for the cost I think it does very well, and in some areas better than cars costing $10-20K more.
Hiro, check out this thread post #9. Not sure if was a dealer or private sale.
Thanks! I love the NSX, but I say keep the NSX & get the 4G!
Thanks for the kind words about the pix of my car! Regarding this thread where you saw the sale, I assume that was a private sale? Vs some retailer selling the set (can't imagine how a retailer could sell at that price)? Just making sure...since that is indeed a great deal!

Everyone, what Stuart said is false, it is horrible in Colorado, all year long. Snow all the time, you have to take the stage coach from the airport, muddy streets and gunfights all year long. It is much nicer where ever you are now...

TL-SHAWD 6MT Rocks!
wow, super clean pictures!
good enough for a catalog! ACURA should have posted pictures like this in their catalog, they really show how the car is in reality.

Gotta admit-- Thats one sharp looking car. Of course, I have the same car so I am a little prejudiced. Still have the stock wheels though. I love it, the look, the drive, the power, and the quality of the material used. I traded my 09 fwd in with 6500 miles to get the 6 speed manual 2010. Best move I ever made, the 6 speed is so much more fun to drive. Can't wait for spring, it needs a good bath.

Hey guys I just joined Acurazine today. I just got a 2010 TL SH-AWD w/ tech package 2 days ago...this car doesn't get all the justice it deserves from pictures (besides StuartMMVITL's who were awesome pics) The car is unbelievable in every way, shape, and form. Need to learn a little bit about the site...any suggestions??

Pretty sure Jalopnik is using that first photo of your car:

Nice catch and thanks for giving me the heads up. They didn't even have the courtesy to ask or attribute the image.

Damn, I thought that looked familiar when I saw that article the other day. I would definitely try to get some retribution from them. My guess is they pulled it from flickr since it's the 1st photo that comes up when you search for 2010 TL shawd. And considering you've listed that photo as "all rights reserved". I would imagine that there should be some sort of retribution...
Update: I notice they do give you photo credit now... did you contact them? It definitely wasn't there before when I saw the article.

Stuart,
Thanks for the email. I'm assuming that when my intern grabbed the image he thought it was a press photo for the TL as the shot's simply excellent. In fact, it looked so much like a press shot I didn't even think to ask where he got it from -- I assumed it was from Acura's press site. I've already updated the post with a credit to you -- and we really apologize for missing it the first time.
We always credit or ask permission before using photos that aren't specifically marked for editorial use under creative commons. Again, we're sorry for the oversight.
Thanks for your understanding,
Ray

Like! Just picked up a CBP 2011 Acura TL SH-AWD w/ Tech Pkg & 6 spd MT yesterday (just in time for Christmas)! I added the Sport Pkg A (which includes the Chrome Grill and all the underbody skirts). Looks sharp... Definitely recommend... new member... will post photos in 15 days.

To your point Stuart, the 4G TL SH-AWD w/ 6-spd MT is one of the most fantastic driving experiences I have personally had! I just had to buy it... The interior is one of the most comfortable, the MT is a pleasure to shift, the suspension and steering feel is tighter (by design) than the AT and I love the look of the CBP with the Sport Pkg A (known as A-spec in Canada). As Dario Franchitti recently commented on the Speed Channel's review of the 2011 model... "it's a Crackin looking car... and amazing to drive on and off the track!" He wishes he had the SH-AWD on his IndyCar...

I think it was on the same Speed show reviewing the TL-AWD that one of the reviewers said something like "this is the car that Darth Vader would drive to Death Star," commenting (very favorably) on the car's styling.
I agree with both of you - I'm about 9 months into owning my 6MT and I'm really enjoying it.
