2009 Acura TL - Project Black Out!
So I just grabbed a CBP 2009 Acura TL 3.5 FWD and I must say I love it. I知 calling this one project black out because I知 going for that murdered out all black look. Always liked it so would like to do it for myself and why not with the TL!
The day I got her!!
Started the Black Out process. Painted the grill black, installed 35% tint and also added LED fogs, LED Switchback turn signals, and I have the 6000k HID replacement for the low beam and also the high beam but those will get done when I remove the headlight for some DIY black housings!

Grabbed some wheels! Scored on a set of Niche Essen 20x9 +35 (Chrome Version), they need some work some of the chrome was chipping away but no big deal as I had the intention in painting them anyway. Paid $500 for all 4 🙌🏼 I also plan on running 245/35/20 all the way around
Mocked up on the side of the car not mounted just to get an idea of how these will look
First wheel sanded primed and painted gloss black!

Congrats on the new pickup, and welcome to the forums!
Looks like the car is coming along quick! If you need some parts, or assistance when it comes to planning out the next mods, feel free to send me a PM or check us out online HERE. We manufacture some aftermarket parts for these vehicles (exhausts, jpipes, pulleys), sponsor the forums, and try to help the community as much as possible.
Happy modding, and enjoy the car!

So I did a thing, I was looking for a second set of tail lights to cut open and do the black bezel with the smoked lenses and as I was searching for a spare set I found some tail lights that were exactly how I wanted to do my own. Red Smoked with the Black Bezel tail lights from Depo. They were $230 on eBay so I grabbed a set because I was going to end up paying $250 for a spare set anyway to try it on so why not rock these while I do the others with time. They fit up perfectly, nice quality, and plug and play and everything lights up fine, no issues, no errors popping up, I even did a water leak test nothing happen no condensation or anything we値l see with time but so far so good but I will be taking apart the oem ones still and doing them on my own but as a daily driver I needed tail lights so these will do. I値l get pictures of them installed it was getting dark out but these are them unboxed next to the oem ones

Black Housing Headlights with the Smoked Ambers completed.
Also painted the bumper turn signals to mimick the SH style turn signals. I知 really considering doing a fresh coat of paint over the whole car tho as my paint is hurting and a compound, polish, and wax won稚 do me any good
