Okay guys, as it is difficult to get someone to video a driveby, I have filmed a quick run around my neighborhood with the windows down in order to give you guys a good idea of the exhaust note. After the break in period, I have to say that my car sounds like a GT car of some sorts when getting on the gas hard. It's very violent and aggressive, and I'm in love with it lol. Anywho, here's the vid and this will probably be my last as I fear I have upset my neighbors.

^Nice Work. I'd been patiently waiting for another sound clip from you lol. An official driveby would still be great, but I can surely understand their probably aren't a lot of willing people to stand by the side of the road with a camera. Maybe go somewhere with no neighbors and set the camera up and just do some passes? Anyway, thanks for the clip, now I have to decide which one I like better Excelerate or ATLP. I like them both in different ways.

Damn.... That was awesome! How much of that sound was due to the intake do you think? I do like that low end growl, that is definitely not intake sound.

^^I am quite sure the intake and j pipe have a lot to do with it, but after having this exhaust for well over a month and 5k miles (i travel alot), I absolutely love the sound, the look, and performance gain. It has my full endorsement.

Much better sound from inside! You must drive your neighbors crazy, kinda like the kid down the street who works at the Chevy dealership and can't seem to leave his his work at the shop.

Hey Hutch, I appreciate the sound clips like everyone else, but think that driving like that in a residential neighborhood is just stupid. Do it in a place where someone isnt going to back out of a driveway or a kid chase a ball into the street.

I totally agree. How foolish of you is all I can say. I dont have kids but this is why some dads wanna kick peoples asses when they do this past their houses. WOW. Out of all the streets, back roads, interstates to do this he decides to risk hitting a neighborhood child or family pet. Hmmm Real smart bro. Again WOW!!!

idk why you guys are bugging he might go over 65 max for a second on a straight away, not like he's letting the shawd kick in around big swooping turns, he can see everything in plain view in front of him, kids, cars, etc...not trying to start anything just sticking up since he did finally get around to putting up a video for us, good work SSGHutch

they were just saying that going 60 in a 30 isn't very safe, nothing personal to driver or the mod he's video recording.

It is a good idea to do this kinda thing on an open road and not in a community.

He doesn't get it. no brakes are that good at 65 when a kids ball goes out in the street and a kis runs behind it. You don't get it.

I'm still waiting for either a local tester or someone in the Phoenix, AZ area to step up. There is significant discounts to be had for being the tester.

If the other guy's dont want to make the trip, or its too far for them, I'm in Stamford CT and would be willing to make the trip to your facility. I'd probably get a J pipe and HFC while I'm there too. Just let me know. I'm free this weekend except for Sunday.

Great to see more interest. Another observation, I would like to see the exhaust tips recessed under the bumper like the original tips. That is a clean look. If it sticks out a little that would be ok. The photos look like they stick out a bit. If you look at the stock tip location from the top and side, you know what I mean. So straight out and located like the stock tip would be great, imo. They should at least be straight back. Thanks.....

Check out this photo from earlier:

Name: IMG_0622small.jpg

I think that they will actually sit pretty nicely- the first photo my be deceptive. Also with an underbody kit, I think they are going to look even better. I wasn't sold on the look when I saw the first photos, but after seeing more real photos on the car, I was much more excited about the look.

We'll find out this Wed.

Keep in mind that stainless steel expands significantly when hot. So, if the pics were taken while the exhaust was hot the tips will be pushed out further than when they were cold. Also, depending on the angle of the picture, the tips could appear recessed or protruding.

XLR8, You are correct the angle is deceiving. Once you install P2010's system, please do post some pics of the exhaust from the side and top views. Im pretty much ready to buy once the tips are pointed straight back. Drive by sound clip would be a big +. Thanks.

I think SSGHutch already gave a quality review of the exhaust, if you're looking for info now. As for the sound, i'm going to wait before it breaks in after about 1500 miles otherwise the sound will not be accurate. I don't put that many miles on my car, so that 1500 miles is going to take at least 2 month (I think SSGHutch has his exhaust broken in already)

Wow - I'm at 12k miles since Oct 2009 - and that includes 2 drives from MA to MI totaling 3,360 miles.

Any more pics or videos of the exhaust?

The j-pipe doesn't alter the exhaust note much. It just makes a bit throatier.

No it should not. See the Magnusson Moss Act.

So we had a member from NY come in today and the exhaust system fits perfectly and sounds amazing. I'm sure he'll post up his review over the next few days. I think there was a perception that the tips were pointing downwards (it's really the angle of the bumper that can make it appear angled) but they don't point downwards. In person, they look straight and fit seamlessly in the bumper openings. Here are some updated pictures:

We have a few systems in stock and ready to ship!!!

Here are the links to the exhaust and then also to the exhaust combo with j-pipe, high flow third cat, and catback exhaust.

Damn - you're quick!

The ride home today was great. The exhaust sounds amazing (pics videos coming). It honestly has an exotic sound to it, like you should be sitting in an NSX instead of a TL. It definitely needs to tone down a bit, and I expect that over the next month or so. But I'm extremely happy that the car has the aggressive exhaust note that matches the aggressive look.

I can absolutely confirm that the tips do not bend down as aggressively like it appears in the earlier photos. We took a look at the exhaust while it was on the lift, and the tips have *maybe* a 2 deg downward tilt. When you look at it, it just looks perfect. I'm very picky and would have had Josh's team adjust if necessary, but they really don't need any additional adjustment.

I think the problem is that the photos tend to accentuate the tilt also because of the way the tips are cut. It's hard to gauge the depth of the exhaust in the photos.

The distance between the tips and the car is about a knuckle (we stuck a hand in and it fit your fingers but not further than the knuckles) And we even took measurements and it all checks out. Any more tilted up and I'd be afraid of melting plastic on the bumper.

I'll be posting up some videos and pics in the next few hours. Huge thanks to Josh and team @ Excelerate for another fantastic job working on my car.
