RV6 J-pipe vibrating issue?
so i just installed my rv6 j pipe with 3rd cat delete today and im having some vibrating issues. when i accelerate even light acceleration. from around 1500-3000 rpm theres a very bad vibration. i can feel it in my seat and on the floor of the car........has anyone else had this problem and know what the cause is?!?!
ive searched around and cant find a definite fix.
can anyone help me?
also i did a ATF and rear diff fluid change too. i dont think those things are causing the vibration...

If it was installed in a 2012, you will need spacers.

yea all bolts are tightenned and its a 2010.
very strange...under extremely light acceleration thers no vibration but normal or moderate accelerating theres a vibration. but once the car is up to speed thers no vibrations.....
this has to be the j pipe right?
it cant be my tranny or the differential ?

So
You don't think it's
My differential right? It had all the symptoms.
Also I noticed today it does it alot
Less when the car is cold. When it's driven and warmed up it vibrates when accelerating from a stand still

I just saw your post with regards to the vibration issue, the same thing happened to mine and i put 3/8 spacers on the cross member to lower it,my rubber hanger was also broken and during installation of the new one i felt that ther is too much stress on that rubber which caused it to break so i removed the metal hanger and put 1/4" spacers on that,at present all the vibration and rubbing is gone.
I have a thread just below yours if you wish to look at it.

Hey guys, a member just made me aware of this post. The issue of vibration is caused by the jpipe rubbing against the cross member. It seems that the engine drops slightly as the engine mounts age. The 2011+ also has problems since Honda went with a new engine cradle were the engine also sits lower. The simplest solution is to use 10mm spacers to lower the cross member. If you are having this problem shoot me a PM and we will get a set of spacers out to you right away.
As for the hangers we have eliminated them on the new batches. By putting the hanger pre flex pipe the rocking of the engine rips right through the rubber hanger. We have not experienced any problems running without this hanger.

Snapped my mount during the install and never have hooked up. I thought for this reason that the rear bank mounting bracket didn't fit properly and blamed it on my install. I'll hit you up for some of these spacers if that will make it better. I still get a little bit of a rattle/growl at low RPM - but nothing I didn't expect.

Hey Richie, do you know if/when you'll have an exhaust system to complement your J-pipe?
