I have a 2010 FWD TL with an XLR8 jpipe, magnaflow mufflers, and I have ONE of my resonators taken off and replaced with a straight pipe. I was wondering how much louder it would be if I removed the other resonator as well? If someone has both off or knows how much louder it would be please let me know. Thanks!

 

i think it will be too loud....

my first setup was : jpipe , test pipe to replace the front cat and took off the 2 resonator.(sound was perfect)

i installed 2 magnaflow muffler and i kept them for 2 days because it was to loud and i went back to my first setup

 

First I did jpipe which took off the third cat, then I installed 2 magnaflow mufflers and took off one of the resonators. It sounds amazing, but I was wondering if it would sound even better with the other resonator off as well or would it be to raspy?

 

I think you are talking about the mid muffler.
I just had the same thing done on my car, 09 TL
Jpipe with 3rd cat delete, mid muffler delete, but I replace my stock resonator with Dynomax resonator and added 2 magnaflow muffler.

If you do want to remove the stock resonator, I think it will be really raspy and loud.
To add on top of that, it will add more drone into the cabin.
