Possibly the first J-Pipe installed on a 4th Gen (SH-AWD)

Josh - Can you provide pipe dimensions / angle bends. From the pictures posted this looks like it'll fit the Honda Ridgeline just dandy. A check of the dimensions / angles would confirm this.

^^^^^ Will do, I was going to take pics etc during the install process but prepreludesh did such a great job it is not necessary. I will however track mpg's and let everyone know my thoughts once it is on. I drive on avg 500-600 miles a week so I should be able to get a good feel for performance +/- gains along with hopefully being able to corroborate prepreludesh's mpg gains. I am extremely meticulous about tracking mileage (fill to the brim and pen and paper all calculations) and with the exact same round trip daily I should be able to discern rather quickly any changes good or bad.

I recorded slightly less mpg in my most recent 1300 mile trip from Richmond to Clarksville and back. Tank 1: 27.0 mpg, Tank 2: 27.8 mpg, Tank 3: 27.3 mpg. I am a little upset because I had no traffic jams to contend with and I felt the driving was smooth with minimal stops.
I will get an alignment soon to see if that helps or if it was off.
I am contemplating my next purchase to increase mpgs and power and after all the recent negative's coming out in the Takeda Intake thread, I'm leaning more towards a cat-delete pipe as I feel this will go a long ways in complimenting the performance gains of the J-Pipe. Any thoughts?

I would agree. I was all about the Takeda until I started reading the negatives as well. So far, every intake that I have installed on my cars have been removed and sold. I would rather go with a drop in K&N and resonator removal and save the cash for the exhaust side.
Until the supercharger is released of course

^^^^^ I am also nervous about what is coming out on the Takeda. Having said that, I have had the intake on for roughly 20k miles and I am not experiencing any drop in mpg's and the power feels the same? I take the filter out every 5k miles and give it the complete cleaning, letting it dry overnight before putting back in. I also do NOT baby the car getting on it hard in "S" mode at least once every other day.
In fact the 1.4mpg increase after the Takeda was installed is still the same. My mpg's have never trended downward over the last 20k miles.

Installed mine yesterday, I posted my impressions on the the install as well as driving it around on this post: https://acurazine.com/forums/4g-tl-performance-parts-modifications-295/xlr8-j-pipe-09-tl-sh-awd-now-shipping-790807/.
in summary, install was moderate-easy. A few Bolts were hard to get to on the new J-Pipe. I love the sound it makes on acceleration, it sounds stock at cruising speed.

Quick question. Advantages or disadvantages to also using the cat delete or the high flow cat?
I am going to do one or the other but would like some input from the pros.
thx in advance

I've been using mine for a few months with no issues as well on a 3.7

Has anyone been following the awesome progress of a true dual setup over in the RL forum?

I'm not planning on doing the pre-cat deletes since I live in CA and emissions testing sux here. Plus I don’t want to deal with tricking the secondary o2 sensors so the CEL will stay off. Already the car has a noticeable increase in high end power and doesn't feel like it lost low end. For example when you’re going 40ish and floor it causing the transmission to drop into 2nd it really throws you into the seat a lot more than before. Plus the sound is nice too...
The true duals are back off the car for now though for some fine tuning and the addition of an X or H pipe...
Sorry about the quality of these. They were all taken from my phone.
