New Exhaust

For xmas I have decided to buy myself a RV6 long jpipe and atlp cat back exhaust with no cat or res.

Exactly how loud would a setup like this be? Would it become annoying after a while?

Thanks.

^you're asking something that is subjective to your taste and to others.

you will get biased answers.

ya, it is quite subjective.

Well its hard to tell from the limited videos online and they all have different setups (some just cat back others have different j pipes).

I guess ill just pull the trigger on it

I have the AWD.

I read the thread and i thought there was a concern for 2012 fitment but it was released for other model years.

On the website it shows available for purchase, is this incorrect??

I think it's going to be too loud. Eazy ATLP is a little louder than my XLR8 and although 99% of the time I love my exhaust note 1% of the time I fk'in hate it. The addition of the j pipe will make it deeper, a little louder overall and explosive at top end WOT. Which again I love but that was going from having a catback (which is where most the noise is made) to adding a little more sound from the jpipe. I think it might be overwhelming to you to go from stock to basically a full setup, especially since its louder at break in.

Can I get some input on RV6 long j-pipe vs ATLP j-pipe and cat?

I believe the ATLP j pipe is a two piece setup (like XLR8) and RV6 j pipe is a 2 in 1 which eliminates the 2nd catalytic converter; rv6 setup is freer flowing. I'd assume it's slightly better performing but am not sure.
