Where was the HONDATA poll thread moved to? And why have the two blower threads been closed?

Probably because the Hondata and the blower aren't gonna happen at all, no matter how many potential buyers are willing to sign up.

As the person who originally spoke to Josh and asked him to start the Hondata poll,i am disappointed as well that the two best performance options seems to be canned. I was really hopeful that the tune would become a reality.

It is far better for these venders to say "no" outright at the very beginning, rather than keep jerking us around, giving us false hope, and finally big disappointment.

I wouldn't say that the vendors, in this case Josh, was jerking us around.

By presenting a list of potential buyers and by committing to purchasing an even larger quantity than the number of people on the list,he also wanted to see this become a reality.

It was a good attempt and it would have also been beneficial to the other vendors selling performance parts, CT Engineering for example as their supercharger would benefit from that tune.

It was mentioned here by several members that Hondata did not seem interested in doing the tune before Josh started the poll. When i contacted Josh,i felt that presenting a list of potential purchasers was better than individual members contacting Hondata randomly and it would give us some leverage.Obviously,i was wrong since Hondata is not interested,too bad though.

I really don't understand it. Sure it takes some R&D but once it's cracked all they have to do is produce the Flashpro unit. Now that the TLX is out and the 4G is dropping in price, they become cheaper to mod bringing in more enthusiasts. I still want this tune lol.

As for the thread. I don't think it should of been deleted either.

I'm not putting the blame on Josh, who is also a victim of this event.

In fact, we should all thanks Josh who did put in lots of effort trying hard to make this happen.

Hondata is the one I'm blaming for not being truthful upfront for its real intention and commitment on developing product for the 4G TL.

I tried to make this happen. I contacted them numerous times and tried at SEMA as well. I even committed to purchasing $100k worth of Flashpros to make it happen. They said it wasn't going to happen. They might develop a reflash for it but it doesn't seem, at least right now, that the Flashpro is in the future.

Reflash is better then nothing but Flashpro is desirable.

I'm still currently running the reflash in my TSX and hit made a big difference. Would of been nice to fine tune all my mods though.

Jesus F'ing Christ you'd think HONDATA were Apple Inc. You committed to 100k worth of units and still no go? Must be nice to be needed... I'd gladly take a reflash over nothing but would much rather give them a and buy another manufacturers flashpro equivalent.

The first one just completely went down the toilet with the posts and it was closed by another Senior Moderator and I'm not looking to step on his toes. The second one was closed from admin because the OP is no longer a vendor/sponsor.

Just curious, what other stuff had Lynnwood offered to sell, other than that one-of-a-kind everything-lumped-together 4G TL supercharger "kit" that carried no warranty and no included tuning service.
