GoPoint BT1
I purchased the GOpoint BT one module, which allows OBD II port to connect to the iPad or iPhone wirelessly. It works with the native apps. does not work with the awesome dashcommand application. anybody had any experience with this?
The DashCMD app acts like it can't see the OBD II port.

This is an OBD II electronic metering utility for iPhone or iPad, using a Bluetooth sending module on the OBD Diagnostic port. The intention is to use this to do some realtime MAF and O2 sensor readings on the J37 for the SRI and the PCDs and J pipe.
My question and application are specific to the 4G TL.
I wanted this in performance mods, as it relates to such. Can this be moved back?

Sure.
For the record I moved it because:
1. Nothing in the OP indicates it is 4G specific, let alone 4G related, and
2. You'll get more traffic and likely more knowledge on an esoteric application in CarTalk than any other sub-forum on the board (not to mention 4G traffic from the re-direct if anyone had info or interest). From that you could have drilled down to 4G details if necessary.

Don't know if you'd have any interest in this thread or not:

Okay got this working. The trick was to download the new gopoing MPG app, which updates the firmware of the BT1, so that it works with dashcommand.
Swoosh - not true.
Gopoint BT1 adapter - $85 shipped on Amazon ($100 regular price).
DashCommand App - $50 from Apple Store - BUT - Best Buy has $100 gift cards for $80 right now, so call it $30.
Total Cost to me - $115.
DashCommand allows you to monitor the ECU via a bluetooth interface. The little device snaps right on the diagnostic port. You bluetooth pair it to your iphone - and boom, you're done.
It reads MAF, MAP, IAT, Water Temp, TACH, and numerous other things. I just want it to read the MAF mainly to see if this confounded SRI is doing anything, or if the sensor can't read the difference.
Cool thing about it - completely portable, no wiring. Go to the dealership, test drive a TL, snap it on, read the MAF output at WOT and see if it matches up.
It also does datalogging, G force metering, track times, gas mileage, and supposedly can do torque and HP readings as well (skeptical).
Havent gotten to play with it as I just got it working, but I'll check it out later.

Okay - some results.
70-90 degree intake temperatures - At WOT and peak RPM - the MAF is reading 36.1 lbs air. When you shift and the tach drops, this goes to 25 lbs, and climbs again.
Anyone know the MAF numbers on the 3.7L or have a way of metering them on a car that is stock ?
