I am looking to swap out my stock exhaust for a cat back system on my 2012 TL FWD. I have done my research but am still unsure which one I should go with. I am hesitant to spend a lot of money on it, but if it sounds great, I think it’s worth it. I have mainly been looking at XLR8 and OBX, but am open to other options. I am just wondering what everyone has and what your opinion on it is. It would be extremely helpful if you could post a video of how it sounds too. Also, is a j-pipe something that I should add with the cat back? I have seen that XLR8 offers one for around $500, but I am still unsure of the purpose of a j-pipe and if it should be added to the cat back. Any and all opinions/suggestions are welcome. Personally, I would get a J-Pipe first to get some more HP gains and a bit of "growl". I maybe wrong but upgrading the Exhaust is more for the "more growl" and rumble. Good luck on the mods!
