Does The 2009 SH-AWD Have A 3rd Cat That Can Be Deleted? I Removed My Resonators Already Looking To Make It A Little More Louder On A Budget Before I Buy My Exhaust Setup In A Few Months
yes it does!
if you look under the front of the car near drivers+ passengers seat, you'll see a pipe shaped like a J. at the end of the J will be a third cat
but removing it wont likely make a difference in sound
J-Pipe is in that spot as justnspace stated. We sell our own J-Pipe which deletes the third cat.
The XLR8 V2 J-pipe is 100% stainless steel, utilizing T304 stainless steel. The primaries are equal length 2.25" piping which transition into a 2.75" collector with stainless steel flanges and hangers. This j-pipe offers maximum performance and ground clearance. It also eliminates the third catalytic converter.

I would leave everything stock on an AWD car and just put in PCD... car will rev up way nicer, sound way throatier, and no rasp/resonance/buzziness.... complete OEM feel but nice buzz saw sound....
Add K Tuner, Add dyno tune..... done.... put the rest into tires/brake/suspension
