Any word on a comptech supercharger for SH-AWD?
right now , i'm looking to buy a 2010 model instead of 09 because i want all the bug fixes to be out.
lastly, i'm coming from an 05 auto tsx. Comptech kinda screwed over the 05 tsx auto as they didn't have the supercharger available for that year/model.

That wood be good if they made one for the 2010. You would have all the luxury and performance in one good priced car.

PeteTL and cornelius are right. The 4G TL is not that kind of car..as in super fast and can be souped up. Coming from a TSX and worrying about a supercharger should tell you that your looking for something else other than a TL.

I beg to differ, I too am waiting for the blower. Coming from a CL-S 6 speed with a supercharger, you get the straight line power and cruising ability with the awesome luxury and size that Acura offers over the smaller compact cars like WRX or EVO. I am waiting for the 6 speed tho, which is a must have if you are doing a blower. Once you drive an Acura with the supercharger, you will expect it every time when you buy a new Honda or Acura.

I can't wait for the blower. I'm not expecting to blow the doors off supercars, but if I can have 400hp AWD Acura, I will be happy for many years.

Or you can get a Hyundai Genesis 3.8 premium and get it turbocharged.
You'll have luxury, size, RWD, and 500+WHP. This is probably the more
cost efficient and realistic route.

the car is great and just needs more power. if there was a comptech supercharger for the car I'd get it in a second. I looked at a lot of cars before getting my TL and the TL blows them away in every way except for power when compared to the IS350 or 335i's. especially when you consider the turbo 6 cylinder bmw's can get to 400whp with a tune, intake, and exhaust.

contacted CT Engineering and this was their reply...

Hello,
We do have our 09 TL SHAWD here and will be working on a supercharger kit once we have finished development on the 09 TSX kit. We have already finished a prototype icebox air intake system, and are working to get it into production at this time. Please keep checking our website for updates and details. Thanks for considering CTe.

so yes they're working on the kit, we'll have to wait for them to finish the TSX kit first.Hello,

I just talked to them recently and they said this summer for the TL. Which will probably translate to late summer/fall, since every project runs into glitches. Especially since we're waiting out the TSX glitches as well.
Last month I asked them to put me at the top of the list. It's going to be so sweet!

HELL YEA!!!!! Then that means I'm definitely buying the 2010 6MT TL SH-AWD.
they better make it for a 2010 6MT !
finally, i can have a luxury car with all the best goodies and toys with as much performance as a 335i with honda reliability and low maintenance!

it would be sick with the 6spd for sure! I don't see any reason why the kit for the auto would need to be any different for the manual. I'm sure they'll double check when it comes out to be sure but I'd be surprised if they had to redesign the kit.
