Hey Everyone,

I just bought a 2012 Tl SH-AWD 6MT this past Thursday. I would like to use my TWM Abrams shift knob off of my old Si on this car. The stock shift knob is a little to tall for my liking. I was able to get the stock knob off and found the threading was the same as the civic. The only problem is the collar gets in the way and does not allow me to put the shift knob all the way down. Does anyone know if the collar will remove from the boot? If I have to I will buy a jam nut to stop the shifter from going any further down,

 

Nobody? Am I the only one who wants to change the factory shift knob to a weighted TWM?!
