2009 TL SH-AWD Automatic to Manual conversion

I'm digging through the 4G forum, have yet to see a topic on this. Maybe i'm just blind. If i missed it by all means kick me in the right direction folks thanks!

Preparing a parts list for this conversion.

I've been looking to buy a manual car to begin with but i can't find a low miles, white on black, manual SH-AWD in my neck of the woods. Been at it for 6 months. Giving up hope on that avenue. Now that I got a Rotrex supercharger setup in place, I want to go manual asap.

Parts I know i'll need:

- transmission
- shifter and center console
- master cylinder
- clutch kit
- instrument cluster
- ECU
- tons of custom wiring harness work or easier to buy a 2010+ harness? i'm sure it'll be a headache for things like hill assist
- starter

What am i missing? Will I need axles? anything else?

thanks so much everyone!

Conversion completed, took a lot more than i wrote up in the list. Would do it again in a hearbeat, it added 50whp to the supercharger setup without the restriction of the automatic transmission and its lower rpm limit.

That steering wheel looks mint! Look like some nice looking upgrades/mods for you TL!

Wow. Props for all that work. Looks great. I'm way to lazy (and lack the skill) to take on something like that. I'd just have sold the auto and picked up a manual.

Wow good job! I didn't even know this conversion was possible on the 4G. Where did you get that steering wheel by the way?

Wow! Nice job! Also, can you tell us more about your supercharger setup?

Ah man, sorry guys didn't realize there were replies to this threat, guess i got used to having a notice in my e-mail so i'd know to come reply lol

The steering is indeed an endlessrpm, top top notch quality, highly recommend them. There's a few options on their site, i kept it simple

The supercharger setup is a Gerzybear performance kit. For the 4th gen there's only one stage available (stage 1). Yields 410-425 wheel HP on pump gas. 500whp if you go for the flex fuel kit. (different fuel system setup)

Write up?

Would you be willing to do a write up for this? My manual elitist friend gives me crap all the time for having an auto and I reeeealy miss driving stick lol.

also wondering if you could do a write up for the super charger setup. I just found that company’s Facebook page and saw that they only have kits for 04-08. I’ve never done a supercharger and am paranoid about running into figment issues and whatnot. I’d really appreciate having a write up to reference. Thanks

Really cool conversion. How did you get the slave cylinder to fit. From what I know the automatics don't have the holes for it.
