Why is my bluetooth a mess.....

My motorola backflip is on their compatible phones list. It pairs OK. it's just everytime when I got an incoming call and I picked it up, they could hear me loud and clear, however, I couldn't hear them at all!! Once when I picked up a phone call and turned off my engine (all power is off), all of sudden, I could hear them through the speakers.....what's the heck!

I was having some similar issues with my old Palm Treo. Someone would call me, I'd try to pick it up and nothing. But the callers said they could hear me.

I recently retired the Treo and replaced with an HTC EVO. Everything works perfectly now.

I think some of the phones on the Acura list, while shown as compatible, are not fully operational with the BT system.

You may want to check the phone to see if it has a separate bluetooth volume setting. I ran into a similar issue with my iPhone, they could hear me, but the caller was hard to hear. To fix it, once a call was connected, I raised the volume of the phone to the maximum which helped tremendously. This volume is separate from the audio system, so I can still raise and lower the "incoming" volume using the audio volume controls.

Hope this helps...

Funny all my Motorola phones worked fine on my TLs until I got my M37 and their BT is so bad. It woudl sound awful, drop calls if call waiting call came in and when I shut car off it woudl drop the phone call. I finally picked up a cheap Nokia and all better. I wish these phone and car makers woudl get togther and find a single universal way to enable BT.
