Looking for where I put in my navi update DVD in my 2010 Acura TL. I heard in the trunk somewhere but can't find it.

So there isn't a separate hdd in the trunk (or elsewhere) to hold the navi disc in place like there used to be in earlier models? Is the disc now downloaded as part of the native navi software used by the unit in the dash?

 

No, not on your car. Updates are loaded vis the in-dash console and stored on the HDD. Once the new DVD is installed, you don't need it again.

 

How does this interface with the realtime tracking? Is that part of another service?
