I did a search on the 4g and i couldn't find anything. The 3g folks list 2ohms for everything but the center and the tweaters, which are 4ohms. trying to get my ducks is a row for a turkey-day speaker swap out. thanks.

 

I plan on replacing all of the factory speakers in January 2010 and will send you the ohm measurements then. Hopefully you will receive your answer before then.

 

You can buy a cheap OHM meter and measure it.

 

Completed aptermarket install of amps, speaker, crossovers and cleansweep. The Ohm and wattage of the OEM speakers are as follows:

Center and rear door: 2 ohms and 15 watts
Front woofer: 2 ohms and 20 watts
Rear deck: 2 ohms and 20 watts
Subwoofer: 2 ohms and 40 watts
Front Tweeters: 6 ohms and 15 watts

Two pairs of Boston Z6s in the front and rear deck. They are powered by the JL HD600/4. The rear doors are Focal 100 CVXs. The sub is one JL 12W6V2. The center, rear door and subwoofer are powered by the JL HD900/5.

 

Did you replace the tweeters? if you did, did you cross them over in the doors or use existing wires? thanks.

 

Yes, tweetere were replaced and used x-overs that came with Z6. Ran new speaker wires but left factory ones if/when I convert back to OEM system.
