Hello,

I'm a new member and I just bought a 2013 TL FWD with Tech. I absolutely love the vehicle. I was under the impression that the vehicle came with NavTraffic and Weather, but these menu options don't even seem to exist on the Info screen, or any screen for that matter. Are these options part of the Elite or SH-AWD package, or do they appear when a subscription has been established? Please help me with this.

Both are XM subscription services.

 

By the way, if you press the "Info" button on your center console, "traffic" and "weather" should appear on the left hand side of the screen. If you click on either of them you most likely will get a not activated message.

 

Hey, thank you for your response. I understand the subscription part, but the only issue is I do not seem to have either of these options on my vehicle. Please see the pictures I attached. That's all I have available on my "Info" screen.

 

I have a 2013 TL SH-AWD Tech. Looking at page 450 of the manual should display the following screen.

 

Note that this is for the US models only. Canadian models may have a different screen.

Try pulling your radio fuse for a minute and putting it back in. The XM module might just need to be reset. Make sure you have your radio codes readily available.

 

Canadian models don't get the weather and traffic option. We get a calculator instead....

 

Thanks for the reply guys. I kinda wish we had these features. That leaves me with one final question. Is there any way to get these services installed on my vehicle?
