Voice Command Question

Is there a secret to getting a response to "What time is?" or "What is today's date"? All of my voice commands seem to work, however when I ask those two questions, I get no response.

Sure, apparently it works only with the voice recognition tutor option set to on. The voice recognition tutor can be found in setup > basic options.

Really? I don't think I ever touched that and those are the two commands I've used to "demo" the voice command functionality in the past.

It may have been set that way from the beginning. I changed the setting when I picked up the car because I didn't like the two step process it requires to give a voice command.
