Is it possible to hardwire the valentine 1 to the sunroof wires in these cars? I did it in my old bmw.

don't you have to buy that connector wire tho if you do that? I just want to simply tap into existing wires.

Well I tried tapping into the sunroof plug. The red with silver and black with silver. They were the biggest gauge wires of the bundle so I figured those were the ground and power feeding the sunroof switch. Didn't work though that's why I was hoping someone else had some luck with this method.

Yeah I'm trying to avoid running the wires down that way. There has to be a way to tap jnto the sunroof power. Or something in that area. Garage switch or lights

lol, you're spending all of this time when you could have dropped it down to the foot well fuse panel in less than 15 mins.

and thats without tapping into any wire.

splicing or wire taps can cause shortages! if not done correctly.

I bought a fuse tap and jumped it off of a the wiper fuse. My radar works perfect now, and I agree with Justnspace I would rather not tap into wires.

Also agree with Justnspace, drop the wire behind the A-pillar down to the fusebox.

Then use a Fuse-Tap to tap out whatever (constant, ignition switched, etc.) +12V as needed to power your new accessory.
