I would like to upgrade the HFL's Bluetooth to 4.2. The sound quality of the HFL in my 2012 TL (Non-Tech) seems pretty poor compared to the 4.2 Bluetooth adapter I bought that goes through the AUX. The problem with the AUX Bluetooth receiver is that it wont boot when its too cold outside, I need to bring the adapter inside and plug it back in when I drive to work. This daily inconvenience led me to this form to see if its possible to upgrade the OEM Bluetooth. I figure its not possible but no harm in asking.

You can't upgrade the OEM head without extensive work, would be easier to buy an aftermarket deck and mould a new dash piece to support it.
