From the Acura website it would appear the 2012 TL will have a Song by Voice feature that "uses the voice recognition system to help the driver find music from the hard drive or a USB-Connected iPod simply by stating a preference".
What I'm wondering is if this is a software only capability and if so, could it be added to our 2009-2011 TL's with tech package?
I've love to have this feature on my 2010 TL. Scrolling through hundreds/thousands of songs is no fun

I totally, TOTALLY!!! agree with you. It seems to be purely software-based. I'm sure they could do it if they wanted it to, but I doubt it. Seems like they want to keep it as an exclusive feature for the newer model, which is total BS!
