From the Acura website it would appear the 2012 TL will have a Song by Voice feature that "uses the voice recognition system to help the driver find music from the hard drive or a USB-Connected iPod simply by stating a preference".

What I'm wondering is if this is a software only capability and if so, could it be added to our 2009-2011 TL's with tech package?

I've love to have this feature on my 2010 TL. Scrolling through hundreds/thousands of songs is no fun

 

I totally, TOTALLY!!! agree with you. It seems to be purely software-based. I'm sure they could do it if they wanted it to, but I doubt it. Seems like they want to keep it as an exclusive feature for the newer model, which is total BS!

Works great! Really convenient to be able to play music selections based on your specific instruction.

 

yeah...the 2010 TL is only USB 1.1...slow as hell!!!!!

would there be a way to change it to USB 2.0...or higher?
