Shark fin antenna

Hey guys, since im new here there might be a couple/few questions that might come up. So i have had my 2012 tl advance package for about 3 weeks. This morning my fm radio had static on on my channels. I know its not my location, because i have been driving this route since i had the car. I also know that its not my speakers, because my cd and the DVD that came with the car sounds great. My navigation is also working. When i felt that little shark fin (which i think is the antenna) it was a little wobbly and you can see that the stick adhesive is coming up a bit. My first question is: is that the fm radio and navigation antenna? My second question is: could that be whats causes static on my radio? My third question is: should there be a little play when you wiggle that shark fin a bit?

it should be pretty sturdy(spell check) and solid on the top i hit mine a few time from removing snow i keep forgetting its there but it should be sturdy and as far as for which radio waves frequency transmits through the shark fin im not sure. Take it in if your still under warranty should be a quick fix

The FM radio antenna is using the printed grid patterns on the rear windshield glass.

The shark fin is the XM antenna. The GPS antenna for the nav is located behind the navigation display to the left (its mounted on a metal bracket). I am not sure where the FM antenna is (good possibility it is on the rear window as stated above).

The shark fin should be pretty tight on there, try removing the rear dome lights to see if you can access the nut that holds the XM antenna in place.

I have not tried myself but I bet the process is similar to the 3G TL:

I finally figured out what caused the static on my fm radio. Every time i plugged in my phone charger into the outlet in the center council, it would go static. I will try a new phone charger and see if that changes because my old charger is cracked and looks like its on its last leg.
