I am also interested in this factory remote starter system but here in Canada it's nearly $1000 before tax and installation charge. I have seen this kit on eBay for around $400 so I wonder if I can install it myself. Any idea?

Didn't you mention that your salesman could get factory accessories at his employee discount which would be nearly 50% off ?

 

He is referring to things like cargo net, floor liners, trunk tray, touch up paint. I doubt anything that needs to be installed won't be included in what he told me. I tried to get them to include the rear sensor in the price but didn't work out.
