After a few months of ownership I've concluded the following weaknesses in the interface system that I hope Acura addresses in the next generation or mid-cycle refresh:

1) Random/Shuffle play button: why is there a Scan/Asel button but no random button? IMHO random button is much more useful. Right now it takes several selections each time random play is canceled to turn it back on vs. using voice command which is a pain. Most radio units have a dedicated botton, this is an oversight.

2) Voice command for random play: Remove the need to say the audio source first. I mean if I'm in HDD or USB or Disc and I want to shuffle the tracks why do I need to say HDD or USB or Disc first?

3) Random play is canceled across Genre, album, or playlist change: This is preventing me from using playlist/genre search functions because I start from the first track within each playlist/genre everytime! If I already selected random it should keep it in random. This is a very poor design, who made this unit anyway Acura?

Don't get me wrong I'm still very happy with the system but definitely a letdown after learning the whole system. If I'm missing something please let chime in.....
